Using Our Secure Client Portal 


We use Clio’s secure client portal to make working with us easier, faster, and more transparent for you. The portal gives you one private place to communicate with us, view documents, track your matter, and manage payments — without relying on long email chains or phone tag.


Why We Use the Client Portal


Security
Your information is protected by bank-level security. The portal is much safer than email for sharing sensitive legal documents and personal information.

Convenience
Access your matter anytime, anywhere — on your computer, tablet, or phone. No need to search through emails to find the latest document or message.

Clear communication
All messages about your matter stay in one place, so nothing gets lost or overlooked.

Transparency
You can see key documents, invoices, and updates as they happen, helping you stay informed and in control.

Faster progress
Quick access to documents, signatures, and messages helps us move your matter forward more efficiently.


What You Can Do in the Client Portal


Through the portal, you can:

  • Send and receive secure messages with our office
  • View and download documents related to your matter
  • Upload documents and information requested by us
  • Review invoices and make payments (where enabled)
  • Receive notifications when there is an update on your matter


How to Access the Portal


  1. Check your email
    You will receive an invitation from our office to join the client portal.
  2. Create your login
    Click the link in the email and set your password.
  3. Log in anytime
    Once set up, you can access the portal at any time using the login link provided.


If you can’t find your invitation email, please check your spam or junk folder.


Using the Portal Day-to-Day


  • Messages:
    Use the portal for non-urgent communication related to your matter. This keeps everything organised and secure.
  • Documents:
    You can view, download, and upload documents directly in the portal. If we need specific documents from you, we’ll let you know.
  • Notifications:
    You’ll receive email notifications when there’s a new message or document — you don’t need to check the portal constantly.


What the Portal Is Not Used For


  • Urgent matters: If something is urgent or time-critical, please call our office.
  • Legal advice outside your matter: The portal is only for communication about your existing matter, as per our Costs Agreement and the scope of work.
